This timely 8-week program that launches in April 2022 will give all veterinary team members the practical tools and doable steps for preventing or recovering from burnout.

From Burnout to Balance includes the following:

  • Monday Motivator emails with reflection exercises and action plans for the week
  • Peer-to-peer support within a private Facebook group
  • One-on-one coaching to address unique problems and concerns
  • Tangible take-aways and tools that will transform your veterinary workplace
  • 10.0 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize RACE


Every
Wednesday, there will be a 60-minute interactive webinar that will be recorded for those who cannot attend live. Every webinar will be held between 5:30 – 6:30 PM Eastern Time (3:30 – 4:30 PM Mountain Time).

The webinar dates and topics are as follows:

  • April 6th: Making sense of the stressors
  • April 13th: Understanding wellbeing and self-care
  • April 20th: Making a self-care plan and sticking with it
  • April 27th: Strategies for sustaining self-care
  • May 4th: It starts with a proper sleep
  • May 11th: Mindfulness for veterinary skeptics
  • May 18th: It’s veterinary practice, not perfection
  • May 25th: Coping compassionately when things crumble

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    During this program, participants must respect “double confidentiality”. This means that anything of a personal nature shared within the closed Facebook group, coaching sessions, or webinar breakout rooms must not be repeated. All participants must feel safe to speak what is in their hearts and minds.

    Additionally, between sessions or after the program is over, participants must not approach each other with feedback or advice. Participants must resist any urges to fix anyone else.

    Participants are welcomed to ask questions or make comments, ensuring that they are honest and kind.

    Regardless of questions or comments that arise during the program, all participants have the right to pass on any answering or sharing without explanation.

    By selecting "I agree", you are consenting to these stipulations for the duration of the program and during any conversations or encounters that might occur afterwards.

    This program also includes optional individual coaching sessions with Dr. Marie Holowaychuk. Scheduling these coaching calls will be done using an online calendar and is the responsibility of the participant. By selecting "I agree", you are also consenting to this.
